We are now looking to fill this permanent position to be based at our Head Office in Chippenham. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are looking for a Junior Electrical Designer to join our small, supportive team working on a range of wastewater treatment projects. In this role, you will assist with the design of both bespoke and standard control panels, as well as electrical installation drawings and schematics. What you will do: (With the support from the Lead Electrical Design Engineer) Assist in creating 2D electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical. Help ensure designs meet safety, compliance, and performance requirements under guidance from senior engineers. Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to support the integration of control systems into equipment and installations. Support the panel build process by providing documentation and clarifying design intent to the assembly team. Help document design changes and participate in design reviews to learn best practices and develop your skills. Assist during testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) stages as needed.
