We’re looking for friendly, customer-focused people to join our installation teams. Full training can be provided, so if you enjoy working outdoors and meeting customers, this could be the role for you!
About the Role
You’ll be on the front line of our service—installing fibre connections directly to customers’ homes. Reporting to the Area Service Delivery Manager, you’ll work from a scheduled appointment diary and help deliver ultra-fast fibre to towns and villages across rural Scotland.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out small excavation works in customer gardens
* Install Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) by pulling/blowing cables through underground networks
* Discuss routing plans with customers before starting work
* Work on overhead networks when needed
* Complete internal cabling and install customer CPE
* Test equipment and educate customers on product use
What You’ll Bring
* Comfortable working at height and doing manual labour
* Ability to pass a disclosure check (work takes place in customer homes)
* Flexibility is required, including travel and overnight stays
