Purpose of the Role
An exciting remote opportunity has arisen to join our Bravo Network team in a technical capacity as a Systems Support Consultant. This role will provide support and training to our Bravo Network members to enable them to achieve optimum use of the broking system (Acturis or Open GI) and meet regulatory and business requirements.
Consultancy services will include undertaking system efficiency reviews, creating and delivering bespoke training and provide ongoing technical and helpdesk advice.
This is a remote based role that will require travel to sites across the UK as and when required.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:
* Provide industry knowledge and current technical systems expertise to assist in the development and update of the Bravo Networks Systems best practice blueprint for Acturis and/or Open GI software and improve systems to maximise productivity and revenue for members
* Provide on-site consultations for System Efficiency reviews and identification of opportunities for growth through system maximisation.
* Support businesses through system change, working alongside the software houses, ensuring a smooth transition from existing system and minimising disruption to the business.
* Identify members’ training requirements and design and deliver bespoke training programmes, whether on site or remotely.
* Provide Helpdesk support, responding timely to telephone and email support queries regarding the system, including account queries, month end support, reporting or technical issues, which may include escalation to the software houses if required, ensuring the query is fully resolved
* Ensure the Letter suite is fully compliant and latest version accessible and maintained on the software house platform.
* Assisting members to adopt the BN letter suite, including training members to make their own bespoke changes and maintain their own letter suite
Who we are looking for
These opportunities are for experienced Acturis, and preferably Open GI, super users who are willing to work as part of a team and manage stakeholders at all levels. We are looking for those who have:
* Extensive Acturis experience – not just as a broker/user but in supporting the technical workings and processes of the platform.
* A good understanding of the insurance broking environment and processes, including client side financial transactions.
* Good working relationships with software houses and clients/partners.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Technically competent and the confidence to build credibility amongst senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrable experience preparing and delivering training as well as coaching.
You will need to be a self-motivated highly organised team player who can use their initiative to get tasks completed, accurately and to tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail will be essential as well as the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
