About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Planning route on a day to day basis.
* Role to include a variety of work including trunking, pallet network trunking, customer delivery work, curtain sided work.
* Roles to include transportation of goods for several customers operating out of the depot.
* Mixture of curtain sided work and fridge work when required.
* Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
* Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
* Attending regular training sessions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
* Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Confident, polite, and a team player.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
