About the Role
Having Retail/Management experience? Are you looking for a new challenge in 2026?
We are looking for a Shop Manager to lead our team in the Exmouth shop. You will work in a creative environment, managing donated goods to maximize sales and net contribution. Your role will have a direct impact on supporting the frontline work that helps young people in England.
Responsibilities
* Lead the shop team and oversee daily operations in the Exmouth location.
* Maximize sales and net contribution through effective management of donated goods.
* Drive revenue generation, ensuring the shop meets its financial targets.
* Recruit, train and motivate a diverse volunteer team alongside an Assistant Shop Manager.
* Build strong relationships with the local community by promoting the shop and encouraging support.
* Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for staff, volunteers and shoppers.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Prior Retail or Management experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
* Strong leadership, people‑management and motivation skills.
* Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
* Commitment to safeguarding and protecting children and young people.
