The successful candidate will:
1. Have a sound understanding of the curriculum and assessment for KS2
2. Be an inspirational and creative teacher, willing to experiment with innovative practices
3. Work well as part of a team and also as an individual
4. Be able to communicate well, with good interpersonal skills
5. Have teaching experience of KS2
6. Demonstrate high expectation of achievement and behaviour
7. Have the commitment to drive and raise achievement
8. Have a commitment to working in partnership with parents and the wider community
9. Have a commitment to academic reading and research
