Start January 2026 Contract Scotland is recruiting an experienced Project Engineer for a 9-month contract supporting the construction and delivery of a 50MW / 100MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the Scottish Highlands. This is a high-profile renewable energy infrastructure project, critical to grid stability and the UK’s net-zero ambitions. The role is site-based and delivery-focused, offering autonomy and responsibility during a key phase of construction and commissioning. As the on-site Project Engineer, you will take ownership of day-to-day construction delivery, acting as the main interface between client, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
