We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Quality Inspector with manufacturing expertise to make a real impact supporting the quality control team.
Responsibilities
* Carry out inspections on materials, components, and finished products to make sure everything meets drawings, specifications and customer or international quality standards
* Check quality at every stage from incoming goods through to final dispatch
* Read and interpret technical drawings or other engineering documentation to make sure everything is correct with purchase order requirements
* Help keep us compliant with industry standards like ISO, EN, and rail safety requirements
* Record findings clearly and keep quality systems up to date
* Spot issues early, raise non-conformances, and support improvements via corrective actions
* Work closely with customer service, projects, procurement and supply chain teams to solve problems and improve quality
* Make sure inspection tools are calibrated and used correctly at all times
What will set you apart
* Proven experience in a quality inspection role or significant experience within engineering or manufacturing, ideally within the rail, aerospace, or heavy industry sectors
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
* Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and measurement tools
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems
* Experience identifying and managing non-conformances and corrective actions
