Our Chipping Sodbury office is located near Yate, a market town with many attractions. The office is nestled in Chipping Sodbury, within Yate, offering an idyllic setting for a workspace. Its proximity to the M4 and M5 motorways ensures easy connectivity and convenience. The office features free parking and an onsite café, making it a comfortable environment for work.
Role Overview
To assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for designated process areas.
Key Accountabilities
1. Post journals and accruals into the JDE / SAP system after discussion with senior site and financial management and proper authorization.
2. Liaise with site and management to address queries within the monthly accounts and weekly reports.
3. Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions between systems.
4. Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts.
5. Support quarterly reforecast and annual budget processes where appropriate.
6. Perform other tasks as required by the finance department.
7. Identify and resolve issues using judgment and support from colleagues.
8. Build relationships within the business and support team collaboration.
Finance Competencies
* Experience in an accounting environment.
* Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
* Good Excel skills; SAP / JDE knowledge is advantageous.

* Salary: £28,000 - £31,000
