Working to tight tolerances CNC Turning and milling Ensure all machines are running correctly Own Quality inspection measuring own parts. Utilising grinding and polishing machines Gear cutting and heat treatment. Working on automated systems Set and Operate No programming. Requirements for Machinists Apprentice trained to Level 3, or other engineering qualifications considered.
