Orchard Professional Solutions LTD are working with local, East Riding based law firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our Client is looking for an experience Legal Secretary, who will be an Integral part of their growing team, providing the best service possible to their clients.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors
* Assist with any billing, invoicing and time recording
* Undertake AML checks and file setup as part of New Client onboarding
* Undertake the preparation, formatting and maintenance of case files and legal documentation
* Manage diaries, schedule and organise meeting and appointments
* Liaise with clients in person, via phone or email in a professional and confidential manner
* Handle data with sensitive, discretion and accuracy
* Undertake general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning, document management and database updates
* Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality across all aspects of work
Requirements:
* Must hold at least 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary
* Ideally have experience within litigation
* Proven competence in typing and MS Office / 365 skills
* Possess strong organisational and time-management skills
* Must have accuracy and attention to detail
* Must hold a professional telephone manager and strong written and verbal communication
* Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
Role:
* Office based role, located in Beverley
* On site parking
* Monday - Friday
* 09:00 - 17:00
* Up to £28,000, depending on experience
