GB Rowing Team/UK Sports Institute: Strength and Conditioning Coach (Women’s Team)
British Rowing and the UK Sports Institute have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach (Women’s squad) role working at the GB Rowing Team (GBRT) National Training Centre (NTC) in Caversham, Reading.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of Great Britain’s most successful sporting teams. Reporting to the Head Coach (Women) and GBRT Strength and Conditioning lead, you will have the opportunity to support the development of an integrated and periodised performance plan that meets the needs of individuals and the goals of the Women’s Olympic squad. As a key member of the core team, you will bring a willingness to integrate with the squad Sports Science and Medicine team including their ways of working.
For you to succeed, you will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and energy to the role and have a genuine desire to help athletes achieve their performance aspirations.
We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified practitioner who can work collaboratively in a demanding performance environment within an interdisciplinary support team. It is important to be accessible, approachable, and visible in this role.
Previous experience within rowing is not essential, but a passion to learn more about the sport is.
