Role Purpose
As the biggest live entertainment arena in the UK, we’re looking for a team of Maintenance Technicians to create an industry-leading music and entertainment experience for our fans and artists.
This is a truly exciting opportunity to keep facilities running smoothly, support the general maintenance of the venue, and develop new processes, ways of working from scratch, and drive performance.
You will be part of the ‘go-to’ team for Venue Maintenance, responsible for completing both planned and reactive tasks.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will aim to deliver the best fan experience. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager at Co-op Live, you will handle reactive maintenance tasks that contribute to providing an exceptional fan experience during live events, along with decorating and painting projects, minor plumbing repairs, carpentry repairs, and small installations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work on-site across days, evenings, and some weekends on a rota basis. You should possess the following skills:
* Knowledge of Facilities Management and building maintenance, particularly in large and complex event venues
* Previous experience, ideally within an events-based industry or similar environment
* Upholding high standards in maintenance tasks and duties
* Being a team player who enjoys positive energy, being resourceful, and motivated in a high-achieving environment
* Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
* Thriving in a buzzing environment, showing resilience, taking control, and making decisions to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
* Successfully managing planned and reactive maintenance
* Continuously seeking ways to improve the fan experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Working knowledge of key compliance areas, including Fire Safety, Legionella, Emergency Lighting testing, and the Health & Safety at Work Act
* Key skills in electrical, plumbing, joinery, or HVAC

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
