A firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors in Gloucester is looking for a Payroll, Tax & Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role
Your day-to-day work will include a combination of but not limited to:
Processing payroll for a range of clients
Ensuring payroll submissions are completed accurately and on time
Assisting with personal and corporate tax work
Supporting the preparation of accounts for a variety of clients
Maintaining accurate financial records
Liaising with clients to gather information and answer queries
Supporting the wider team with general accounting duties
About You
The practice is looking for someone who:
2+ years UK experience within an accountancy practice
Good understanding of payroll and accounts processes and basic tax work
Is organised, reliable and has a good eye for detail
Is comfortable speaking with clients and working as part of a team
Enjoys a varied role and is keen to keep learning
This would suit someone looking to build their experience in a well-established local practice where they can develop their skills across several areas of accountancy.
