SEND Teaching Assistant – Blackburn

Location: BlackburnRole Type: Temp to PermPay Rate: £14.25 – £16.00 per hourSetting: Mainstream Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackburn on a temp-to-perm basis.

This role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND) including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, helping them to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Assist with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Support children with emotional and behavioural needs
• Work alongside teachers to deliver inclusive lessons

Requirements

• Experience in a SEND TA, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role
• Strong understanding of SEND within primary education
• Patient, adaptable, and positive attitude
