Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an education establishment in New Castle under Lyme is currently looking to expand its team and is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us in the following roles:
• Catering Staff
• Kitchen Porters
• Chefs
• General Assistants
• Cleaners
• Receptionists
As part of our client’s team, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing catering, cleaning and admin/reception services to students and staff.
Whether you are passionate about food, customer service, or maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, we have a position for you!
Roles & Responsibilities:
Catering Staff: Assist in preparing and serving food, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards.
Kitchen Porters: Support the kitchen team by ensuring cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Chefs: Prepare high-quality meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and contribute to menu planning.
General Assistants: Assist with various tasks in the kitchen such as food prep for lunches and breakfasts working alongside chefs and the kitchen porters to ensure a smooth running of the kitchen.
Cleaners: Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in all areas of the site.
Receptionists: Provide a friendly, professional, and efficient service to students and staff, managing queries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
Key Requirements:
Valid Enhanced DBS for schools (No older than 1year, or registered on update service)
Previous experience in a similar role.
A positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
For catering and kitchen roles, knowledge of food safety standards.
Flexibility and a willingness to help in a variety of tasks.
