Leeds College of Building is looking for exceptional people to join our team in a teaching role. This position involves workshops and classroom learning, with a priority to engage and inspire students to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities
* Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our workshops
* Delivering theoretical lessons to support the practical applications
Qualifications
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation
* Super organized and take pride in your work
* Keen to inspire the next generation of electricians and share your knowledge and experience
* Relevant industrial experience would be valuable; experience sharing skills in an educational/training environment is advantageous
* A teaching qualification is not essential; the College will fund and support you to achieve this
Working hours
Hours: 37 hours per week

Additional information
* This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. The government pays successful candidates from an industry background to move into teaching. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher.
