Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism Implement individualised education and behaviour plans Use strategies such as PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, or sensory integration (training provided if needed) Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to ensure holistic support Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Requirements: Experience working with children with autism (in school, care, or support settings) Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for inclusive education and SEN Desirable: Training in Autism-specific approaches (e.g., PECS, Makaton) * Graduates are encouraged to apply!
