What you’ll do
As we expand our fleet of wind turbines in the UK,we’relooking for Travelling Wind Turbine Technicians (within the UK) to take the technical lead on onboarding newlyacquiredturbines while also helping to elevate ourexpertiseonGE andSenvion platforms. This role is perfect for someonewho’sloves travelling across UK and is skilled in turbine maintenance and troubleshooting and is eager to share knowledge, resolve issues, and support the team in getting these turbines up to our high operational standards.
* Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.
* Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
* Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
* Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain.
* Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
* Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment.

* Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.
What skills do you need
You’ll be a skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience, having worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical.
Previous experience on wind farms is beneficial, but not essential. We can train you to multi-skill.
For this role, you will generally be located within 45 minutes of the site and have a full UK drivers licence. You will be open to travelling to other sites to support where necessary.
