Overview
Relief Bank Worker (Support Worker) to join our team in Blyth on a relief/ad-hoc basis. This position provides support to young people, with duties including basic support, advice and guidance, and some administrative tasks to support the wider team.
Responsibilities
* Provide basic support, advice and guidance to young people.
* Support service users when needed and complete administrative tasks within the office to support the wider team.
Requirements
* Awareness of safeguarding issues with experience of supporting a vulnerable client group.
* Ability to work well in a team and remain calm and positive in demanding situations.
* Demonstrated ability to assess and manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-standard customer service.
* UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (some travel between areas).
* DBS check required; two satisfactory references upon offer of employment.
Shifts and Contract
* Shifts across a 24-hour service: 8:00–20:30 on weekends; 16:30–20:30; evenings and 20:00–08:30 waking night shifts. Lone working required.
* Zero-hours contract.
