Purpose
To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It is the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long‑term success.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Manage client relationships to identify clients' financial goals, challenges and risk tolerance.
* Analyze data from various sources to spot trends, insights, areas for improvement and opportunities for additional services.
* Research industry trends, regulatory landscape and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
* Design customised solutions that meet clients' specific needs using a range of bank products and services.
* Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations and negotiate terms beneficial to both client and bank.
* Provide guidance on financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies and market updates.
* Assess financial, legal and operational risks and implement measures to minimise potential losses.
* Document all client interactions, transactions and agreements for transparency and auditability, and communicate findings to support product development and overall bank strategy.
* Monitor client satisfaction, revenue, and other relevant metrics to evaluate effectiveness of relationship management.
Expectations & Leadership
To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and ensure operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions. Lead a team or lead collaborative assignments, coaching employees, setting objectives, measuring performance, and determining reward outcomes.

Experience & Qualification
* Recognised financial planning qualification at RDR Level4 or higher.
* Knowledge of financial markets, products and regulatory frameworks with ability to explain complex topics in clear and relevant terms.
* Proficiency in digital tools to support client conversations and build trust.
* Careful approach to risk identification and management while maintaining compliance.
* Experience engaging with internal teams and external networks to welcome new clients and grow relationships.
* Broad exposure to the financial services industry, especially retail regulated products and asset management.
* Familiarity with pensions, investment advice and UK taxation.
* Experience managing risk within a client portfolio.
* Adaptability, curiosity and resilience in a fast‑evolving environment.

Location & Regulatory
The role is based in London. It is a certified role under the PRA and UK Financial Conduct Authority regulations and may require mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal benchmarks.
