We're looking for a highly efficient Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
You’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of recruitment queries, managing a high‑demand telephone line, buzzer entry system for booked appointments, and a busy e‑mail inbox. You’ll need to juggle tasks with confidence and professionalism, ensuring every interaction, whether in person, by phone, or online, is helpful and timely.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm approach under pressure, and the ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
Main duties of the job
* Act as a key first point of contact for recruitment enquiries via telephone, buzzer entry system, and e‑mail, providing accurate information to candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
* Manage a fast‑paced recruitment inbox, prioritising and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
* Greet and support candidates attending right‑to‑work, ID and qualification check appointments.
* Maintain accurate digital and manual records, working with systems such as NHS Jobs, ESR and DBS platforms.
* Provide administrative support across the full recruitment process, including advertising, documentation preparation, booking inductions and liaising with HR colleagues.
* Support the coordination of workflow within the team, ensuring agreed standards and turnaround times are met.
* Work flexibly across the team, adapting to rapidly changing priorities and supporting colleagues during peak periods.
* Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
