Position Overview
Dual-role leader responsible for environmental health & safety programs and facility operations. Ensures compliance, maintains safe working conditions, and supports production through facility management.
Key Responsibilities
EHS
5. Develop and manage EHS programs (OSHA, EPA compliance)
6. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
7. Lead safety training and emergency preparedness
8. Manage workers’ comp and near-miss tracking
9. Oversee PPE and environmental compliance (air, water, waste)
Facilities
10. Oversee maintenance, repairs, and daily operations
11. Manage facility upgrades, capital projects, and vendors
12. Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security
13. Develop preventive maintenance programs
Sustainability
14. Lead waste reduction and environmental initiatives
15. Track and report sustainability metrics
Leadership
16. Lead EHS/facilities staff
17. Partner with production and leadership teams
18. Serve as contact for regulatory agencies
Qualifications
19. Bachelor’s in Environmental, Engineering, Facilities, or related
20. 3+ years in EHS/facilities in manufacturing
21. Strong OSHA/EPA knowledge
22. Experience with facility planning tools (AutoCAD, etc.)
23. Strong project management and leadership skills
Preferred
24. CSP, FMP, or similar certifications
