We are partnering with a premium kitchen company to recruit an ambitious and creative Kitchen Designer to join their growing team in the West Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a proven track record and the ability to think beyond the obvious. You will work closely with customers to bring their vision to life, creating beautiful, functional spaces tailored to their individual needs. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients is essential, ensuring they receive expert advice, outstanding service, and inspiring design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome prospective customers to the showroom and provide an exceptional experience
* Conduct independent surveys in customer homes
* Design kitchens and other rooms using CAD software (ArtiCAD desirable)
* Hold inspirational presentations, explaining your design rationale
* Provide expert guidance on materials, finishes, and appliances
* Draft quotations and manage post-sale processing orders
* Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion
* Communicate with the wider team to ensure smooth installations
* Manage after-sales service and follow-up
* Maintain showroom presentation to the highest standard
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Kitchen Designer or similar role
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficiency in CAD software (ArtiCAD desirable)
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
* Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
* Full clean driving licence and access to own car
* Flexibility to work Saturdays
* Customer-focused attitude with a can-do approach
