leThis role will be responsible for supporting, from an editorial, publishing and administrative level, the Non-fiction Publisher, who leads the team, Lauren Whelan in her role and in addition the Doubleday Non-fiction Publisher, Susanna Wadeson -working with them on their non-fiction titles, assisting their acquisitions, and having an oversight of the non-fiction team schedules, supporting the Publisher with the smooth running of the non-fiction lists. We're open to appointing someone at Assistant Editor level or Editor level. You'll be involved in all processes of book production, from acquisition to publication, to lend your hand to the Publisher in helping to turn a seed of an idea or a manuscript into a finished, bestselling product, championing our brilliant books internally and externally and providing exceptional author and agent care and communication at all stages. - on.Managing the internal book process of specified books, including scheduling, completely compiling the jacket and cover briefs and copy where needed, collating proofs (or working with our Managing Editorial team to do so), arranging and working through legal reads, populating Advanced Title Information, liaising with the authors and ghostwriters to agree delivery dates, liaising with Production, designers and freelance
