We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to work in our Technical team providing bookkeeping services to our clients. It will based at our Swansea Office. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of all client's projects. To demonstrate expected and acceptable behaviours in line with the Firm's values and build positive relationships with clients and staff.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Bookkeeping on QuickBooks, Sage and Xero.
* Addressing any queries with a client that arise during the preparation of their bookkeeping
* Maintenance of client records
* Supporting other team members with technical work when required
* Compliance & Governance
* Ensure that all key targets are always met
* Continually embed the key strategic objectives of the Firm: embedding excellence, enabling growth, create the future
* Ensure that any identified training programmes are adhered to
* Processing CIS returns and submissions
Person Specification
* Qualified by experience or AAT qualified
* Has accounting data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
* Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
* Has experience with Accounting Software e.g., Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
* Has strong IT skills and working knowledge of Excel
* Is able to respond quickly and adapt to changing client needs
* Is able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
The position is office based.

Pay: From £24,005.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
