Job Purpose
As a Network Asset Engineer (single skilled electrician), you will work with a wide range of equipment. You will implement effective and efficient maintenance services on all Wastewater Network Maintenance sites, including pumping stations, powered screens, and detention tanks.
You will provide services to internal and external customers to achieve quality, performance, and safety standards of the company.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Identify and raise further work and capital investment needs (through Problem Notes or reactive Plant Failure Reports) to prevent repeat incidents and failures at powered assets.
* Respond to reactive incidents such as alarms, customer calls, and field notifications on standby, and carry out the first call response on all powered assets.
* Ensure all maintenance data recorded is reliable, accurate, and complete at all times.
* Proactively look for ways to reduce repeat failures, pollution, and flooding incidents at powered assets.
* Act as the Person Controlling the Works (PCW) for all work within relevant mechanical or electrical disciplines being completed on site by Framework Contractors, ensuring safety, correctness, timeliness, and budget adherence.
