Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Wandsworth Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £120 Per day Benefits: PAYE & CPD Job Description Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons for students with SEN Providing one-to-one support and guidance to students with SEN Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Additional training in SEN support is desirable Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant Experience in supporting students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different SEN conditions and their impact on learning Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Preferred Qualifications: SENCO qualification First Aid training Working Conditions: Working hours may vary but typically follow the school day Work may involve physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
