St Mary’s Primary School is a happy school which was judged Good at the last OFSTED Inspection (January 2020) and in addition an incredibly positive SIAMs inspection. The school consistently matches or exceeds local and national averages at the end of each Key Stage and this combined with recently extended grounds, an outdoor learning environment including two outdoor classrooms, an award winning Wellness Garden and Forest School with parents who value learning, and pupils who are well behaved and eager to learn make this school a wonderful place to work.

All pupils are encouraged and nurtured to achieve their potential in all areas of the curriculum – our dedicated and enthusiastic staff team take every opportunity to broaden creativity and self-esteem.

We strive to provide a school in which everyone feels secure, knowing that they matter and are cared for and we aim to enable everyone in school to have the skills and knowledge to reach their own potential.
