To find out more about the role, click to view the Role Description Essential Requirements: Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent. Applicants must hold an appropriate NSW Electrical Licence issued by the Department of Fair Trading (that is, an endorsed NSW Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate) or be eligible to obtain prior to confirmation of employment. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document ( here ) for details) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course. Have a minimum of five (5) years recent post qualification experience relevant to your industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously. Highly regarded but not essential: Qualifications in: Industrial Electronics Electrical Engineering Grid connected PV & Battery Storage Standalone Power Systems Refrigeration Air-conditioning Paid to Learn : for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.
