Job Title: Behaviour Mentor / SEMH Teaching Assistant\nLocation: Milton Keynes\nStart Date: ASAP\nHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:15am - 4:30pm, Term Time Only)\n\nAre you a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor or SEMH specialist looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?\n\nWe are working with a fantastic school in Milton Keynes that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. They are looking for a dedicated, full-time Behaviour Support professional to join their team this September.\n\nWhat the role involves:\n\nSupporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis\n\nImplementing behaviour strategies and personalised support plans\n\nHelping students to engage with their learning and achieve their goals\n\nWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals\n\nProviding consistency, encouragement and emotional support throughout the school day\n\nThe ideal candidate will:\n\nHave experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour\n\nBe confident using de-escalation techniques and behaviour support strategies\n\nBe calm, patient, and adaptable\n\nHave strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset\n\nBe available to work full-time, Monday to Friday ...
