As part of the TUV family Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) to source CAT 3 Inspection Engineers to cover the UK in the Northwest, Northeast, Humberside and Southern Regions.
Job Summary Inspection of pressurised static equipment e.g.
vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements Education Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
Engineering Technician status desirable.
5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g.
mechanical technician.
Experience & Skills Mechanical Engineering background.
Experience in the Chemical and /or Oil & Gas sectors Understanding of engineering principals.
EEMUA / API / NDT qualification/experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Eye for detail.
Meeting tight deadlines Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
Appreciation of pressure equipment Experience / appreciation of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT) Successful applicants must meet the UKAS definition for category 3 inspection engineers as seen below: Category 3.
Engineering Technician as defined by Engineering Council or equivalent (e.g.
Appropriate ONC with relevant experience, NVQ Level III) having a minimum of 5 years experience within a relevant discipline of which at least one year shall have been spent working within an engineering discipline associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems.

Salary/Rates: Competitive Salary/Rate plus Company Bonus Scheme Conditions/Additional Benefits Standard hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
