We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our East Cornwall CAMHS team, based predominantly in Liskeard. We are open to applicants from Clinical Psychologists who feel ready for a Band 8a role; however, we are also very happy to consider applicants interested in a Developmental role. Our developmental role posts enable clinicians to start with us in a Band 7 role, with coaching and supervision to enable them to achieve competence as an 8a psychologist over an 18-24 month period.
We are an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health and provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
We are a people organization, and people matter to us. As part of the team, you'll help support the health and wellbeing of the people who live and visit this beautiful part of the UK.
Over 4,000 people make up the Trust, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and admin/support staff.
We work in people's homes, community clinics, bases, and some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. Our aspiration is to have great people, provide great care, be a great place to work, and a great partner.
Just over 568,000 people live here. A third of the population in Cornwall is supported by acute hospital services in Devon. We also work closely with our partners in Devon. During the summer and holidays, many visitors increase the demand for our services.
