I-Trent System Support Officer
(Town Hall, South Shields/Hybrid)
£33,699 pa
You will play a key role in supporting the Council’s HR and Payroll systems. You will provide 1st line support to users, manage system administration tasks, and work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the systems run efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line support and guidance to system users;
* Manage change requests and support release planning and implementation;
* Conduct system testing, validation and documentation;
* Maintain user access rights and ensure compliance with security policies;
* Support data integrity, identify training needs and deliver targeted training;
* Collaborate with third-party suppliers and schools for ongoing support.

* Experience in system support, ideally within HR and payroll environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
* Knowledge of access management and system administration.
* A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service.
