Job Title: Counselling Lecturer

Type: Temporary - Part Time
Rate: £25 - £27.50 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Counselling Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire.
This is a part‑time temporary role to start 16th April until the end of June. The hours are 4pm - 9pm every Thursday evening.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and high‑quality teaching across Level 4 Counselling programmes
* Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements
* Assess student work and provide constructive, timely feedback
* Support learners in achieving their academic and personal development goals
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Relevant counselling qualification (minimum Level 4 higher preferred)
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
* Previous experience delivering counselling courses in an FE or HE setting
* Strong understanding of counselling theory and practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Current DBS check
