Role Overview
Deputy Shop Managers are commercially aware and constantly look for new business opportunities. They motivate their teams, create a safe and energised work environment, maintain high standards, and are accountable for business performance. The role includes 15 hours of work (including 4 hours on Sundays) and involves online listings.
Responsibilities
* Motivate and support the shop team to achieve results and maintain day-to-day shop operations.
* Provide excellent customer service and engage with the local community and other civil society organisations.
* Support effective retail processes, strong merchandising and commercial activities.
* Maintain shops’ administrative systems, interpret basic financial reports, monitor budgets and maintain financial records.
* Work collaboratively with the Shop Manager and build positive relationships with colleagues.
* Demonstrate resilience to everyday pressures and manage conflicting demands, seeking support when needed.

* Commercial awareness and strong merchandising skills.
