Nobi is seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM). This role will help us expand and consolidate our footprint in the UK market of care homes, retirement living communities and hospitals by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships, and developing partnerships across key segments in the agetech and healthcare landscape. As our Business Development Manager, you will work closely with prospective clients, industry leaders, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and solidify Nobi's presence in the market.
The BDM will be based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* You identify and prioritize new opportunities in agetech, healthcare, and senior living sectors.
* Thanks to your commercial flair and charisma you’re able to convince new customers of our future-proof solutions.
* You cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across prospective client organizations, including care home chains, NHS contacts, and private care providers.
* You conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential new market segments, and competitive dynamics.
* You prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
* You ensure new projects and pilots are documented and supported.
* You deliver a high level of customer service and account management to ensure our resellers and customers are happy and continue a good working relationship.
* You work collaboratively with reseller partners during the sales process to support project success and relationship development.
* You manage our current partners and customers across the UK, including conducting regular site visits and maximizing sales opportunities.
* You collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on product positioning, messaging, and promotion strategies.
* You work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction.
* You contribute insights and feedback to internal teams to help refine products and services to meet market needs.
* You represent Nobi at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand brand awareness and cultivate new connections.
* You support sales targets for UK turnover and growth.
You for Nobi:
* 8+ years of experience in business development, sales within tech, healthcare, or senior living with a high drive and passion for deal closing.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong relationship-building abilities, with a natural curiosity to understand client needs.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make informed decisions.
* Self-starter with a proactive approach, comfortable with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in CRM systems, databases, and digital tools.
* Willingness to travel within the UK to meet clients, resellers and attend events.
* Nice to have: experience or understanding of the UK Health and Social Care landscape.
