QEHS Coordinator (Maternity Cover), Arla Taw Valley (MonFri Days)

Youll be a key player in our QEHS agendakeeping systems tight, training operators, supporting audits and helping ensure products and people are safe every day.
How You Will Make an Impact
Reporting to the AFI Taw Valley Associate QEHS Manager, youll collaborate across functions to deliver site objectives and ensure compliance with Arla Foods/AFI standards, legislation, third-party certification and customer requirements. Youll support daily administration, quality systems, product analysis and continuous improvement - deputising for the Associate QEHS Manager on occasion to keep things running smoothly.
* Maintain QEHS administration and document control update daily KPIs, support reviews/amendments of risk assessments and SOPs, manage LIA observations and process deviations, contribute to periodic and annual management reviews, and release products to meet orders
* Support Quality Management Systems contribute to HACCP, lead CCP training for operators, support/completion and follow-up of internal and external audits, process Quality Incident Reports and NCRs, and oversee customer and supplier complaints
* Deliver product analysis support prepare samples with the TVC laboratory team, support weekly environmental monitoring, maintain analytical equipment, and report on incoming analysis results
* Drive continuous improvement participate in quality and safety projects, problem-solve and share specialist knowledge across teams
* Uphold ways of working occasionally deputise for the Associate QEHS Manager, complete relevant training, set and track personal objectives, contribute to team meetings and effective handovers, and ensure a safe, positive working environment
This is a 10-month maternity cover within Arla Foods Ingredients at Taw Valley, working Monday to Friday (days). You will report to the QEHS Manager.
What Will Make You Successful
You will bring an understanding of dairy or food processing environments (desirable, not essential), HACCP Level 3 and Food Hygiene Level 3 or equivalent (desirable, not essential), and ideally some Health, Safety & Environment training or experience. Youll be comfortable with basic SAP functions, proficient in Microsoft applications, and experienced in data management and trend analysis.
Personally, youll be structured and analytical with a strong optimisation and problem-solving approach, a clear communicator who can train and collaborate effectively, and a self-motivated team player who works independently and across functions with a continuous-improvement mindset. Ideally, youll have a great attitude and be willing to learn.
