A snapshot of the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the medical provision to Para-swimming, shaping the way we deliver sports medicine in this Paralympic sport. We see this role as critical to our success and are looking for leadership, expert clinical skills and the ability to work in an integrated manner as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The doctor will be responsible for leading the delivery and coordination of Sports Medicine services for athletes on the Aquatics GB (AGB) Para-Swimming World Class Programme and for identified WCP activity. This role will support the AGB Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with the development of the Para-Swimming element of the AGB Athlete Health strategy in order to optimise athlete physical and mental health, maximizing their performance potential for major competitions.
