Following an internal promotion, our Management Information team is on the lookout for a BI Analyst to join the ranks!

The primary function of the Management and Business Information teams is to design and deliver data solutions sourced from multiple systems, aligned with our Contractual Service Requirements (SORs). This data is routinely communicated to KN and Team Leidos management teams on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis.
A core responsibility of this role involves producing regular performance reports—daily, weekly, and monthly—while also analysing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights. These insights play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and informed business decision-making.
This role is pivotal in driving data-led decision-making, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and enabling strategic forecasting. It will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and explore innovative ways to manage and utilize large datasets effectively.
How you create impact
1. Identify opportunities for operational and process enhancements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement CI initiatives using data-driven insights.
3. Trend Analysis & Forecasting
4. Present findings in a clear and actionable format to senior leadership
5. Evaluate and implement tools and technologies for efficient data storage, retrieval, and visualisation
6. Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards
7. Create dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
8. Translate complex data into business-friendly narratives
9. Support ad-hoc analysis requests and strategic projects
What we would like you to bring
• Operated within the military / defence and commercial sectors (Not Essential)
• A good level of data manipulation skill in advanced Excel multi-functional formula and Power Point.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis functionality of Excel with a desire implement alternative data analysis and visualisation tools (. Tableau)
• Business Objects, Dispatcher & WMS experience an advantage
• Maintain integrity of the MI process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current complete and consistent.
• Previous experience in an Operational Logistics Environment (Highly Desirable)
• Understanding of the constraints of using sensitive and confidential data.
• Knowledge and understanding of KPI’s & contractual requirements.
