Summary
To fabricate, assemble & manufacture HVAC equipment using a range of techniques & tools.
Key duties and responsibilities
Extensive experience of fitting & assembling fabricated parts or subassemblies using hand tools on In-line duct mounted equipment
Ability to fabricate, demonstrate skills relating to measuring, drilling, cutting etc.
Work with pneumatic & electrically powered tools to achieve installation of components on AHU's
To follow directions and instructions from the Manufacturing Supervisor or Leading Hand
Follow drawings and work instructions provided and notify of any discrepancies
Be able to follow internal manufacturing procedures & policies
Adhere to the Health & Safety + Environmental required standards
Responsible for producing high quality/integrity products
Is able to conduct quality checks pre & post manufacturing processes
Seek ways to improve processes and performance in line with company continuous improvement program
Key Skills Required
Able to assemble & manufacture parts to match bespoke project requirements
Experience in working with sheet material
Confident in the use of power tools & equipment
Problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings
To identify and suggest solutions to problems
Education & Experience
Experience in fabrication and welding workshops
Knowledge of Dmapers & Air Handling Units would be advantegous
Forklift truck license preferable but not essential.
Overhead crane or jib crane certificate but not essential

Hours are 40 per week (Monday to Thursday 6.00a.m p.m.)
