Primary Teacher QTS | Year 3/4 – Carlisle
Humly is recruiting a Primary Teacher QTS to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a part-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 22/05/2026. This opportunity would suit an engaging and adaptable teacher looking for a better work-life balance while maintaining a strong classroom presence. You will take responsibility for a mixed Year 3/4 class every Thursday and Friday, supported by an experienced teaching assistant, with the potential for the role to extend further into the Summer term.
What You’ll Be Doing

Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a mixed Year 3/4 class

Supporting pupils’ academic progress across the primary curriculum

Working collaboratively with the teaching assistant to meet pupil needs

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
*
Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with school expectations
What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in KS2, ideally within mixed-age classes
*
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*
Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs

A proactive and flexible approach to part-time teaching
Pay
Non-AWR: £130 – £150+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.58 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
