We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our conference venues in Oxford OX1 3RG. Please note that this is a zero-hour contract. This busy venue operates 7 days a week between 6am and midnight. You will work on a rota basis, as per the business needs. Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. We are a fresh, food-led operation open seven days a week, catering for up to 200 guests daily. You will assist in delivering exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a range of hospitality events including fine dining, BBQs, weddings, and canapé receptions. We take great pride in the high quality of our offering and the standards we maintain. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the kitchen operation runs smoothly. You’ll be responsible for handling deliveries, collecting, cleaning, and restocking all crockery and glassware. You may also assist with basic food preparation and carry out additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef or Operations Manager.
