Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work to enrich the lives of people with diverse care needs. Our work is rewarding and driven by pride and passion.
Since our inception, we’ve expanded to offer innovative, bespoke care services across England and Scotland. Our principles are based on choice, dignity, and respect, aligning with our vision ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We value our staff highly. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going the extra mile, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and professional development. We provide training, support, PPE, and career development opportunities.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
What is the role? We seek an enthusiastic, driven individual to lead a team of support workers at one of our extra care services in Stockport. More about the service: This residential home supports 12 residents with varied needs, including autism and communication difficulties. Staff are trained in autism awareness, basic sign language, and positive behavioral support. Residents are mobile but require supervision due to vulnerability.
What do we need from you? You should have experience in health or social care, a positive attitude, and a passion for community support. Experience with support planning for behaviors that require intensive management is essential. You must be comfortable with basic IT systems and hold relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3, or Care Management Level 3.
Your values: This role offers a chance to make a real difference by leading a motivated team to deliver person-centered outcomes. You will drive performance, foster a positive culture, and ensure effective resourcing. Our core values—We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable—are central to our approach. We seek individuals who are patient, empathetic, reliable, honest, determined, resilient, and problem-solving.
