Evans Pharmacy (Daleacre Healthcare Ltd) is a small, family owned business run by pharmacists, at the heart of the communities we serve. The company evolved from a business set up in the 1960s by Bill & Ann Evans based in Ilkeston, and following a split of that company reverted to using the family name in 2016 at branches across Southern Derbyshire and South Nottinghamshire.
Administration and office functions are based in Breaston, Derbyshire, and distribution in Kirk Hallam (Ilkeston), again in Derbyshire. A growing business, the company currently has 12 pharmacies and over 100 employees.
Areas the company specialises in, in addition to dispensing NHS Prescriptions and the supply of "over the counter" medicines, are the supply of medicines to GP Practices, sales of Veterinary Medicines and specialist foods, and running Travel Vaccination Clinics.
The company regularly seconds pharmacists to work within local GP Practices, and has shared ownership of a number of local medical centres which allows the development of closer working ties with our GP colleagues. Within the company are five specialist Pharmacist Independent Prescribers who work within the travel clinics or in associated GP Surgeries.

We are looking for:
* Qualified Dispensing Assistant (with certificate)
* Experience working in a pharmacy essential
* Ability to demonstrate excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to maintain focus and concentration throughout workday
* Ability to provide excellent customer service
* Ability to work as part of a team
This role is based in our Newark Kirkgate branch.
Schedule and hours to be confirmed but can be flexible for the right candidate.
