Warehouse Supervisor, Permanent, Larkhall, £35,600 per annum plus overtime We are looking for experienced Warehouse Shift Leaders to work within our established warehouse & distribution team in Larkhall.As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be tasked with:Leading a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators to achieve the highest levels of despatch accuracy and customer satisfactionProviding effective supervision of the team directing work tasks and performance across all warehouse functions - accurate and efficient storage and distribution of goods, goods in, stock relocation, pallet pick and despatchManaging individual attendance, timekeeping, breaks and holidaysManaging performance, identifying training needs and implementing ongoing development plans for all team membersEnsuring all Health & Safety protocols adhered to with regards to property and mechanical handling equipment; escalating any issues to Warehouse Manager where necessaryEnsuring all warehouse procedures adhered to at all timesEnsuring the accurate and efficient despatch of goods on time and in full with required documentation provided at time of loadingAssisting internal and external customers with any queries or concerns in a timely and efficient mannerImplementing stock movements in alignment with FIFO principlesContributing to the continuous improvement of the warehouse function for internal and external customersMaintaining housekeeping to 5S standards What you can expect:A permanent contract with a competitive salary of £35,600 per annumThe opportunity to work regular overtime paid at time and a half and double timeA continental shift pattern working a mix of day shifts and night shiftsGreat work / life balance - over six months of the year on rest days or annual leaveInvestment in training & developmentFull uniformOn site parkingOpportunity of career progression What we are looking for:A solid work history and an enthusiastic approach to workExperience of leading a team to deliver high standards of individual and team performanceStrong numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail to ensure system and stock accuracyClear and assertive communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to react to changing demands whilst maintaining adherence to all company processes and protocolsGood system knowledge including Excel If you're interested in working for a well-respected business then we'd love to hear from you.
