Our client, a prominent entity in the Beauty sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to join their centralised London team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing end-to-end demand planning processes
Collaborating closely with the procurement team to align demand and supply
Analysing sales and inventory data to forecast demand accurately
Implementing and launching the new ERP system, while transitioning from spreadsheet reliance
Supporting the Head of Operations & Supply Chain to streamline processes
Contributing to the expansion in both UK and US markets, particularly with M&S, Boots, and more.
Providing insights and recommendations on product demand trends, especially in the growing fragrance category
Participating in restructuring efforts within the business context
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in demand planning, preferably within the beauty industry
Understanding of procurement processes and timings
Proficiency in data analysis, particularly with sales and inventory data
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to work effectively in a team with no direct reports
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Flexibility to work 3 days/week in the London office, with some flexibility on days including Fridays
Relevant accreditations in demand planning or supply chain management are desirable
