Production Leader (Trainee GM)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead, motivate and manage a team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.
* Ensure schedules are met efficiently while maintaining quality, safety and hygiene standards.
* Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks and resolve issues proactively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
* Support team training, coaching and development to enhance performance and engagement.
* Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering and other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
* Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as required.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
* Maintain stock and resource levels to meet production demands.
* Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and respect within the production area.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in a leadership role within production, warehouse, FMCG or logistics operations.
* Strong people‑management and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
* Excellent understanding of health and safety, quality and hygiene standards in an industrial setting.
* Ability to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
* IT literate, with working knowledge of MS Office and production management systems.
* Continuous‑improvement mindset and experience implementing process efficiencies.
