About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated, hard working and efficient Group Leader to join our amazing team on a maternity leave contract at St Augustine's Long Day Care and Kindergarten based in Augustine Heights. We are looking for someone who has the passion and drive to help our children feel safe and secure by encouraging them to express their interests and ideas and enhancing their ideas through the program. You will be required to program on a daily basis so experience in this area is essential. Together with families and colleagues, the Group Leader will work to provide programs in the best interests of the children and their needs. You will be enthusiastic and energetic and be passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop.
Hours: Full-time - 38 hours per week
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 4.1 to Level 4.3 depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Requirements:
5. Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
6. First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
7. Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
8. Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
9. Effective workplace communication skills
