Offer description

Join to apply for the Housing Officer role at Pinnacle Group Limited

The role involves attending appointments with service families as they move into and out of their homes and while they are in occupation. You will deliver mobile patch‑based housing management services, develop relationships and engage with stakeholders, including industry partners, to ensure families receive a holistic and seamless individual patch management service.

About Our Homes Team

Our Homes team manages 49,000 military family homes on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. Your mission is to be a champion of Service Families, advocating for them in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide services to families as part of the occupancy cycle: planning for, attending, and administering pre move‑out, move‑out, pre move‑in, move‑in and 14‑day observation (settling in) visit appointments while working collaboratively with industry partners to meet required standards.
* Work in partnership with RAMS to achieve contractual move‑in standards, ensuring families receive high‑quality homes and a welcoming service.
* Ensure contractual occupancy move‑out standards are met and recharges applied to families using an evidence‑based approach.
* Contribute to a comprehensive patch service by raising, reporting, and monitoring health and safety concerns impacting families’ lived experience.
* Plan and manage routine appointments, communicating any short‑ changes immediately to relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure garage voids are minimal and garages are managed and maintained efficiently with accurate record keeping.
* Liaise and engage with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating patch/location walk‑abouts.
* Work with local agencies, charities, support providers, military liaison officers, service hubs and statutory authorities to deliver joined‑up support and services.
* Support large‑scale and short‑notice moves that may require regional and national travel, including overnight stays and covering other Housing Officer absences.
* Participate in events and activities to engage with service personnel, planning, organising, and attending surgeries and stakeholder meetings.
* Lead and assist in the investigation and resolution of complaints and occupancy breaches, drafting responses and reports as required.

Key Requirements

* Preferred 2 years’ experience in public or private sector housing management or a customer‑service focused operational environment (ex‑service personnel welcome).
* Full driving licence.
* Occasional overnight stays and frequent regional/patch travel.
* Commitment to and passion for providing enhanced services to service families.
* Eligibility for relevant security and clearance checks.
* Ability to work independently across a mobile patch.

Our Offer

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, especially ex‑armed forces personnel and their families.

As a colleague, you will be part of an inclusive culture and have opportunities for learning and development.

Benefits include:
